What they don’t tell you about entrepreneurship

When people look at a successful entrepreneur

- they see the cars, money, houses, success etc etc

- but what they don’t see is all the shit they went through to get there

- Living broke as hell starting out

- Spending everything you have on getting started

- Cutting out friends and family who are negative

- Skipping on family vacations and trips

- Truly sacrificing for right now in hopes that it all pays off with no

guarantee

- People look and think its all gravy and easy but have no clue what they go through to make it happen consistently

Theres a metaphor that I found pretty interesting from Dan Lok

“That man (or woman) is riding on a lion he is so brave, meanwhile the man is wondering How the hell did I even get on this lion and how do I prevent myself from being eaten alive”

Ppl see entrepreneurs

- Hustling

- bring customers in

- building social media

- making things happen

- trying to manage everything before having a mental breakdown or going broke

All of this can lead to feelings of

- anxiety

- self doubt

- worthlessness

- suicidal

People always see the glory but don’t see what goes on behind then scenes, but fortunately theres a large community of fellow entrepreneurs that support each other through these crazy times

Entrepreneursip is the ability to endure pain for a long period of time

No matter how much money you make the problems will always be there, they’ll just have a few more zeros attached to it

One problem solved will be immediately replaced by another problem, which is the name of the game, entrepreneurs are simply problem solvers

- marketplace

- business

Talk about personal events:

- starting Indiana creatives

- starting hempworx

- working for aether

- trying wholesaling

Don’t focus on the glorys of this life, the material things of what you want, it’ll stress you out

Instead focus on how to get pass this phase that your in and how to overcome everything that youre faced with (personal and business)

They may seem like disadvantages now but they’ll be your advantages over everyone else but you leveled up and figured it out

Families and friends are some of the worst people in entrepreneurship

Families can be mentally draining because thats who youre doing this for

- they want you to go get a secure job and settle

- saying youre wasting your time

- you should give up

- you don’t spend time with us anymore

- they don’t understand what

Everyone loves to complain during the hard times of building a business but everyone loves to be there when it pays off, they want to ride in the new cars, dinner at the new house, get on that Christmas list, ask for jobs or some money, its sad

Then once you get to a certain level they start saying stuff like..

- you work to much

- money isn’t everything

- why not just enjoy life, you make more than enough

Because theres millions of other people who deserve this lifestyle as well, and its our calling to help these people and give back so they can experience what we have along with their families

In the beginning you may just start to make a living but after you get to that level it comes much deeper than financials, you feel like its your duty to help society as a whole, thats how you really leave a mark on the world

The rewards from come in forms of messages, and the way people talk about you, impacting peoples lives

Lunch with the Garzas is our way of giving back to the people, we don’t make any money directly off of this platform, we do it out of love, we do it for the amazing messages we receive from people

Favorite quote:

Live like most people won’t so you can live life like most people can’t

Work when most people don’t want to so you don’t have to work when most people have too
