Dr. Soo-Im Lee is a professor in the faculty of Business Administration at Ryukoku University. Born and raised as a third generation Zainichi Korean, she became the first woman to obtain Japanese citizenship individually in the early 2000s, opening the door for many others who have since followed her footsteps. In this episode, we discuss her experiences fighting systemic discrimination within Japanese society and her outlook on the coming "Era of Immigration" in Japan.
