Dr. David Potter is the Director of the Graduate Program in Policy Studies for the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Nanzan University. A PhD in political science, Dr. Potter specializes in Japanese ODA and foreign policy. In this episode, we discuss his experiences in academia in both the US and Japan, recent changes in Japanese society, and the importance of having a purpose for thriving in Japan.
