Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. The Second Sunday of Easter in some traditions is known as Quasimodo Sunday. Most people know the name Quasimodo from Victor Hugo's 1831 novel "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame" or one of it's various adaptations to film. The name Quasimodo (or Quasimodogeniti) originates from the incipit of this day's traditional Latin introit, which is based on 1 Peter 2.2. "Quasi modo géniti infántes, allelúia: rationábile, sine dolo lac concupíscite, allelúia, allelúia, allelúia." Translated into English: "As newborn babes, alleluia: desire the rational milk without guile, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia."
