Prof John O'Grady is a recently retired Professor of Hepatology at King's College Hospital in London. He is internationally renowned within hepatology and his research has shaped how we treat patients with liver disease. Prof O'Grady was responsible for developing the King's College Hospital Criteria for acute liver failure and he was involved in seminal trials of immunosuppresion for liver transplantation.
