Messy Adventures in Living ~ Petrina Fava Radio Show What if parenting wasn't about control? Many people assume kids are not as smart as adults, and so parenting becomes a launch of molding and controlling techniques. We think we are guiding them to make the right choices, but what if we are actually using our judgments to fit them into a neat little package we've decided is success? What if molding them into what we think is a "good person" or a "successful person" is an enormous unkindness? Would you be willing to ask what you can contribute to them without any judgement of what that would look like? Would you be willing to acknowledge that your kids have their own path, that they know what they are doing when they make their own choices, even if it looks like destruction to you? Imagine what it would be like to have a generation of people in the world who, as children, were allowed to choose and create their own lives, without being judged in any way? Petrina Fava is always creating something new and it’s almost always quite messy! She enjoys having lots of projects on the go all while being a perfectly imperfect wife and mom of three! -www.petrinafava.com www.petrinafava.accessconsciousness.com
