Bokassa is a badass Norwegian stoner-punk band that famously got the call from Lars Ulrich who, after claiming to be one of their biggest fans, invited the band to open for them on the 2019 European stadium tour with Ghost. We talk with lead singer and primary songwriter, Jorn Kaarstad, about the origins of Bokassa, touring with Metallica, his favorite music, personal insights into road life, fronting a band, bending genres, being a Reload defender and how Lars responded when Jorn told him they needed to play Fixxxer live!
