Managing incoming deliveries and outgoing orders, finding space for new products, prepping stock for picking, staff performance, processing returns, checking orders, liasing with internal departments, liaising with external third party suppliers and more, all whilst maintaining a pick accuracy of over 99% is no easy feat.
So just what is required to keep on top of so many moving parts? And how do we at Metpro ensure our service levels remain high?
We sat down with Metpro Group Warehouse Manager, Elsa Hooper, to talk it through. Considered a legacy colleague and having enjoyed a strong career with Metpro so far, Elsa provides some fantastic insights into what goes on behind the scenes, including her favourite part of the job, the biggest challenges she feels within the logistics space at present, and how she has forged her own career with Metpro over nearly a decade.
