What is RISK? Understanding and measuring risk is critical to our decision-making process around hazards- in both our personal and professional lives. Is this hazard acceptable? Does this hazard need to be controlled for? How much does this hazard need to be controlled for? Is the hazard and its level of risk justified?
In this episode we define what risk is, why it's so important to every single human being, and how we can strengthen our understanding and skills in analyzing and evaluating it. This is an introductory course to risk and will take you on an adventure as we assess the risk of several situations together!

She aims to provide every worker with their own “Safety Sense”. She believes in engaging and empowering every employee in hazard, and hazardous state, recognition and response, while simultaneously building the environment, leadership, and systems for long-term success!
Outside of work, Tamara is an avid reader and traveler. She loves to mountain bike, camp, take her son and dog on long hikes, volunteer in her community, and enjoy life’s simplicities with her family and friends.
