Welcome to the Middle Age(ish) Podcast, hosted by Ashley Bedosky, Lisa Kelly, Dr. Pam Wright, and Trisha Kennedy Roman. In this episode we talk with Traci Andreason, MSN, FNP-C, who is an expert in all things rejuvenation of the face and also the "lady parts."
This episode was prefaced with the fact that we would be discussing anatomy of genitourinary and sexual function, and this particular episode would not be appropriate for children. We also let our male listeners know that, while this episode focuses on female anatomy, it might offer benefit to them by giving insight into issues a female might be going through that they were not aware of.
Traci's practice , Rise Rejuvenation Center, is in Utah. She offers a wide array of injectable and laser therapies in her practice. She is so incredibly knowledgeable, down to Earth, and passionate about what she does. She has a way of making uncomfortable conversations comfortable, with her frank and honest discussions with her patients.
We discussed the issues that women face, such as stress incontinence, and how women just deal with it as an expected change. Traci responded with "We need to change that! Friends don't let friends pee their pants!"
We had a lot of laughs during the recording of this episode, from discussing our own lack of knowledge of the aging process of the "lady parts," being enlightened by Lisa on her latest discovery about female anatomy, and listening to Traci's incredibly educational information with a touch of her natural comedy. She is just an incredibly cool woman with a passion for helping other women!
