Growing up on comic books and cartoons, writer Stewart St John headed to Hollywood to work in television. After getting a 2-year contract at Hanna Barbera writing animated series like Tom & Jerry Kids, he landed his first live-action gig when he was hired as story editor and writer on a weird new show called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The series went on to become a world wide phenomena and now with a brand new Power Rangers movie in the works, Stewart takes a candid look back at his contribution to the franchise, discussing the episodes he wrote; from “Happy Birthday, Zack” to the five-part mini-series introducing the Green Ranger and more.
