From the stories behind the scenes to the box office, it’s one of the more jam packed production profiles. Then although we bounce around from topic to non-spoiler topic, we do cover all of the major Oscar categories and if this film will contend. The spoiler music plays, and after some carryover conversation from non-spoilers, we must break down the plot to get our heads around the story and themes being put across to us. Honestly, we are still wrestling with this film. It’s a massive undertaking with a deceptive amount of depth - depth of feeling certainly, but also a depth in terms of all those English Exam vocabulary words we could use to analyze the story. Although, we’re not at our most articulate, this debate between Mikes brings forth a thesis from Mike 1, and we break down his main takeaway in spoilers.
