This phase of life is inevitable, just as how we enter the workforce, we must make an exit. This can be a very daunting thought for many like myself but in this episode our guest, Dr. Malaika T Edwards will help us to understand the ways we can prepare for retirement. This episode do not look at the financial aspect of retirement planning but more the psychological way to prepare our hearts and minds.

Dr. Malaika T. Edwards is a Human Resources Pracademic, with over two decades of experience in Human Resources. She is an assistant Professor of Human Resource Development and her research focuses on Workplace Aging, Retirement Planning, Business Continuity and Multigenerational Workplaces. Dr. Edwards also provides HR Consultancy services to small and medium sized companies and is a former business writer for a Caribbean media house where she authored the columns "The Career Corner" and "HR for Business"
