Быть Добру и Миру... С уважением к Вам, Andrey Malinov. Hammock (в переводе с англ. — Гамак) — американский музыкальный дуэт, созданный Марком Бирдом (англ. Marc Byrd) и Эндрю Томпсоном (англ. Andrew Thompson). Hammock совмещает живые инструментальные записи, вокал, электронные ритмические фигуры, гудящие гитары в атмосферном звучании. До Hammock: В 1995 году Марк Бирд, совместно с Дрю Пауэлом (англ. Drew Powell) и Хэмптоном Тальяферро (англ. Hampton Taliaferro) создал в Арканзасе альтернативную рок-группу Common Children. Позже к ним присоединились гитарист Эндрю Томпсон и вокалист Кристина Гласс (англ. Christine Glass). В 2000 году Кристина и Марк повенчались и создали группу GlassByrd. Группа Common Children записала три альбома и распалась в 2002 году. После распада группы Марк Бирд и Эндрю Томпсон продолжили экспериментировать с эмбиент-записями, впрочем, не придавая этому большого значения. Формирование группы. Дебютный альбом: Первоначально Марк и Эндрю не собирались выпускать релизы на основе совместных записей. Но после записи более 19 песен они изменили своё мнение. Марк и Эндрю продолжили записывать песни, и к концу года их уже было более 30. После того, как записи были прослушаны заново, тема альбома была найдена. Из записанного материала Марк и Эндрю выбрали шестнадцать песен, и в марте 2005 года группа на собственном лейбле, Hammock Music, выпускает дебютный альбом под названием «Kenotic». Rudy Adrian (родился в 1969 году) – музыкант из Новой Зеландии. Его музыка по большей части представляет из себя амбиентные мелодичные пассажи. Вместе с этим музыкант часто экспериментирует с другими направлениями электронной музыки. Также он сочинял песни для местного телевидения Taylormade Media. Стоит заметить, что это является его основной профессией. Его первый опыт в записи музыки был произведен в студии университета Кентербери, когда Руди был еще студентом. Далее музыкант бросил учебу и поступил в университет в Отаго, где получил ученую степень в области ботаники. Следующие несколько лет Руди писал музыку для телевизионных шоу, рекламы и короткометражных фильмов. Альбомы музыканта делятся на два направления: Atmospherfic Works и Sequencer Sketches. Эти работы можно назвать концептуальными, поскольку между собой они кардинально отличаются по звучанию, настроению, и даже по инструментам, которые использовали для записи. Вместе с этим было выпущено и несколько концертных альбомов. Для создания своей музыки Руди привлекал сторонних музыкантов, среди которых стоит выделить флейтиста Ника Проссера и клавишника Рона Бутса. Общим для его музыки является исследование звуковых ландшафтов, где мелодия и ритм играют второстепенную роль по сравнению с тонами и текстурами, создаваемыми синтезаторами, деревянными флейтами и человеческим голосом. Всегда экспериментальные и оригинальные, они также мирные и приятные для прослушивания - как саундтрек к фильму без картинок. Некоторые сравнения с атмосферными произведениями Брайана Ино и мягкими арпеджио Tangerine Dream и Жан-Мишеля Жарра временами уместны, но музыка, тем не менее, остается уникальной музыкой Руди Адриана.
