Welcome to another episode of the Schofield Chiropractic Training Podcast with hosts & coaches Dr. FJ and Dr. Fred Schofield. As we dive into the new year, 2024, the focus is on evaluating our weaknesses. Having coached Chiropractors for more than 37 years, a prevalent challenge in achieving success is the pivotal significance of faith in one's technique. Simply put, if the doctor lacks belief in the method, the patients are unlikely to believe in it as well.

Dr. Fred and Dr. FJ stress the importance of non-verbal communication in chiropractic care, citing physiological responses through the vagal nerve. Techniques such as nodding, hands-on communication, and eye contact play a significant role. The doctor's unwavering belief becomes crucial in this game, asserting that all techniques work, but it's the doctor who makes the difference.

This episode advocates for an obsession with providing patients an unparalleled experience, something that AI cannot replicate. While acknowledging the place of technology, the hosts emphasize the primary role of building relationships with patients, asserting that chiropractic care goes beyond the capabilities of AI.

SCT Coaches also reflect on the historical advancements in chiropractic, from early X-rays to addressing thots, trauma, and toxins in the early 1900s – positioning chiropractic ahead of its time compared to medical practices at the time like lobotomy. The acceptance and comprehension of the chiropractic profession's philosophies regarding the innate immune system have become more widespread in society, gaining particular relevance in the post-pandemic era.

Tune in for insights into the growth of massage and hands-on chiropractic care, and discover why cultivating relationships and understanding patients' needs remains at the core of chiropractic practice.
