In this episode, Eileen shares her struggle with grief throughout the years. Losing her dad at the tender age of twenty-one, she opens up about what led to a ripple in their relationship and how she worked to rebuild that father-daughter bond right before his passing in 1999. Eileen did this episode as her father's 20th year anniversary of death approaches this week. She wanted to share a bit of her feelings after 20 years and the way the grief can sneak up on her at any given moment. The importance of this episode is to remind us that it's okay to grieve and that it can happen at any time.
