Episode 45 marks the first episode of year three of the moose hunt podcast! To celebrate, host Chris Richards sits down with and old friend Brent West for a great conversation about conserving lands, protecting access and getting in the game to fight for our sporting traditions. Brent is the Executive Director of the High Peaks Alliance and makes it his life's work to protect some of the most amazing regions and natural resources of Maine for ALL people to use, explore and experience. The group then shares some moose hunting stories and the fact that Chris just pulled his third Maine Moose permit. In closing the pair announces they will be two folks helping to pull of the 2025 Maine Moose Lottery festival in Farmington, ME and that listeners who send in ideas for the event will be entered for a drawing of a free Moose Hunt Podcast swag bag.
