Today is a special day as I not only had the opportunity to interview one, but two guests! This was a first time experience having two guests on the show. I’m very thankful my first 2 guest interviews were with The Bulcher sisters. I met both Erin and Nicole several years ago when they opened their fitness studio, The Bar Method. It was an exciting time to witness and watch unfold as a dream came to fruition. With that dream comes a lot of hard work and stressful times. I had a great conversation with both Erin and Nicole regarding the steps into opening the business, the tough decision to sell only after a few years after opening, and navigating a new identity after a big life change.

Erin Peabody and Nicole Bohannon (The Bulcher sisters) and former owners of The Bar Method in Southlake, Texas, discuss their journey of opening and running a fitness studio together. They talk about their close relationship as sisters and how their differences actually strengthen their bond. They share their experiences in dance and fitness, including Nicole's time as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. They also discuss the challenges they faced in opening their own studio, including location and funding concerns. Despite the challenges, they were able to successfully open their studio and build a strong community of clients. Nicole and Erin discuss their experience of owning and selling a business. They talk about the challenges they faced, the exciting moments they experienced, and the identity shift that occurred after selling the business. They emphasize the importance of finding your passion, becoming an expert in your craft, and finding your identity in something greater than a title or role.
