Good morning, everyone! Join us for another inspiring devotional as we dive into Exodus 18:5-27. In today's main verse, Exodus 18:24, we explore the remarkable relationship between Moses and his father-in-law, Jethro. In a world filled with in-law horror stories, this devotional is a refreshing reminder of how Moses set a great example of how to get along with in-laws. Moses listened to his father-in-law, Jethro, and implemented his advice, showing respect and friendship. But what can this passage teach us about relating to our in-laws, especially if they aren't particularly "friend-worthy"?

Today’s Bible Verses:

Full Devotional: Exodus 18:5-27

Main Verse: “Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said.” (Exodus 18:24)

Today’s Questions: 1. Moses treated his father-in-law with respect and as a friend. What can this passage teach us about relating to our in-laws? What if our in-laws aren't particularly friend worthy? What are some of the ways we can still have a positive relationship with them?

2. Jethro earned the right to give Moses advice. What are some ways we can allow that kind of process to happen with our in-laws?

3. Do you think God used Jethro to get a message to Moses? Why didn't God deliver that message directly?
