Heid approaches the challenges of parenting from a very unique perspective. Raised by missionary parents and placed in boarding schools from a very early age, she grew up with some very deeply ingrained thoughts and experiences. As an adult, she go married and eventually had children, but then lost her first husband when the kids were still young. Heidi then spent a number of years as a single parent before remarrying and experiencing the challenges of bringing a "step-parent" into the lives of her children and family.
These experiences as well as her insight into God's word provide the back drop for why we thought she was a great person to speak on this topic and bring the Biblical Letters To Life.
