Pride has no place in love.
The insistent cry “We have rights” doesn’t come from a Christian heart. Martin Luther once said, “A Christian is a perfectly free lord of all, subject to none. A Christian is a perfectly dutiful servant, subject to all.” May God remove our pride so that we may truly love one another.
