Back in the mid 90’s Helberg Regional VP come to town, go to food court, list all stores 9 - 18 rank each manager add up, take average, that’s me! WHAT?!?! Lisa 8, Brenda 7, Charles 4, Peter 4, Rumaldo 9, John 6 I’m better than a 6
Created excuses: having a hard time hiring their mall is being remodeled this person is going thru a divorce their assistant just got promoted and they are short staffed blah, blah, blah
Reality: things always evolve always changes always obstacles always fires burning always things we are working on
Do you think the TOP performers who really have their shit together don't have these issues? of course they do they re just better at their job than most people
They plan for these things They put contingencies in place They insulate their success They have back up plans They have momentum They work on eliminating their weaknesses And growing their strengths
Very common in real estate roller coaster incomes pipeline management
So how do most people react: chase shiny objects pay for some new course buy some shitty leads spend a bunch of money on worthless marketing or the promise of being in the first page of google? what a joke!
Gotta work ON your business not always IN your business this can’t be multi tasked Can’t do both at once Can stand up and sit down at the same time its impossible
When you work ON your business can look at the KPI’s that matter what is my lead gen POA? who are my top lead providers? what leads do I need to STOP getting what leads do I need to START getting? how many listing apps have I been on the past 30 days how many buyer rep agreements in the past 30 days how many hours did i work this past month what were my expenses what is my profit after tax
let’s make this simple leads - enough of the right leads to hit your goals? pipeline - listings and pending systems - admin, leverage, automation profit - before tax and after tax
The question I have for you today is this: how do you rank in these 4 core areas?
