Well, the Denver Broncos are on top of the NFL once again and our roving reporter, Flo was right there to capture it all! Well, sort of… Check out the highlights and lowlights of this historic 50/50; Flo turns 50 and the Super Bowltoo. If only he knew the difference between a football and baseball!

I had a great time with my daughter in Santa Clara, California this weekend. We’re not the biggest sports fans, however, the Super Bowl brings out the best in all of us! We had fun making a quick, parody-type video podcast from the most technologically advanced stadium in the league; Levi’s Stadium. Simply amazing!

While in Santa Clara, we enjoyed a visit to The Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. This Museum is the ‘Hall of Fame’ for nerds like us! Some of our favorite exhibits included rare or one-of-a-kind objects such as a Cray-1 supercomputer as well as a Cray-2, Cray-3. My daughter found it amusing that Cray (always the fashion plate) allowed customers to personalize their Cray from a variety of upholstery color choices on the iconic C-shaped seating around the base of each supercomputer. $30 million gave you choices back then! We discovered that underneath Cray’s unique seating design was the supercomputer’s cooling units. The CHM does an excellent job in preserving and presenting the stories and artifacts of the information age. It was great father and daughter time too. I was able to say “Hey, I used to use one of those” as I pointed out relics like cassette tapes and floppy discs!

Check out the fun on our video podcast: https://www.facebook.com/streettoyota/videos/10153320623770848/ Leave us a comment and tell me some of the interesting things you’ve done with your son or daughter too!
