It was a funny career and he's a funny man.
No one is arguing for him, as a player, to be a Hall of Famer. But he's as intrinsic to the Flyers as anyone in history.
Coatesy's Corner, the Flyers intermission show, was the best part of the franchise for almost a decade.
He never scored an NHL goal but his story on blowing his best chance is one of the best hockey stories you will ever hear.
