#37: The White Lotus (+ Hacks & The Flight Attendant)

After a brief intro talking about what a bop The White Lotus theme song is, the ladies jump into some sister chat. Sarah talks about her recent trip to the Museum of Archaeology (because her and Jack are smarty pants), then there is a pivot into food (of course), a little talk of Trader Joe’s (how can you avoid it) and then end with all things adulting (boo!).

Sarah finally has access to the HBO Max, which means a whole new batch of shows to talk about! Since Gossip Girl was already discussed (go check out Episode 34) they dive right into talking about Hacks and the Jean Smart renaissance that is (thankfully) happening. Of course that leads into discussing full length sequin suits and reminiscing about Vegas.

Then they jump into The Flight Attendant, and how it was surprisingly funny for the subject matter. And how Jack was shocked about the big twist in the pilot.

Finally Elizabeth and Sarah talk about the surprise hit, The White Lotus. A show that makes you feel uneasy the entire time and tells the story of entitled rich white people and the path of destruction they often bring about. #JusticeforBelinda. And of course in a very Clue like fashion they will discuss who dies with the knife in the Pineapple Suite.
