Welcoming Leonardo Arias Vera, Leo, to the My Natural Beet Podcast!

A few months ago when I was in the U.S., I was fortunate enough to spend time with Leo. After meeting in a class we were both taking one semester in law school, International Human Rights, we became fast friends. Getting through law school and the bar exam experience can be trying but when you have a friend like Leo you are often reminded to take it easy, laugh, and enjoy the small, simple things in life.

To give you a little background Leo is an attorney in Cuba and most recently (last year) became licensed in the United States, Florida to be specific. Leo has many years of experience working on immigration law and currently does civil litigation work specifically relating to family law and landlord/tenant issues as a staff attorney at Legal Services of North Florida.

Leo is a cheerful friend, a solid and hard working attorney, and I am happy to have him share his perspective with us!
