Mindfulness-based stress reduction and health benefits: A meta-analysis (2014) by Grossman, P., Niemann, L., Schmidt, S., & Walach, H. - This meta-analysis examined the effects of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) programs on a wide range of health outcomes, including stress reduction, anxiety, depression, and overall well-being.

  1. The effects of mindfulness-based interventions on cognition and mental health in children and adolescents: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (2019) by Dunning, D. L., Griffiths, K., Kuyken, W., Crane, C., Foulkes, L., Parker, J., & Dalgleish, T. - This meta-analysis investigated the impact of mindfulness-based interventions on cognitive functioning and mental health outcomes in children and adolescents.
  2. Mindfulness practice leads to increases in regional brain gray matter density (2011) by Hölzel, B. K., Carmody, J., Vangel, M., Congleton, C., Yerramsetti, S. M., Gard, T., & Lazar, S. W. - This study used MRI scans to examine changes in gray matter density in the brains of participants who underwent an 8-week mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program.
