Have you ever seen a severely broken-down house that you thought if you touched it would immediately fall? You thought to yourself there was no way this house has any hope to be repaired nonetheless made beautiful again. But for a home restoration expert, she might genuinely say about the house, "Well, this looks promising!" Believe it or not, we come now to the last chapter of Hosea. Throughout our journey through Hosea, we have seen God's faithful pursuit of His people, God's people's consistent rejection of Him, and God's promise of judgment in hopes of their repentance. In chapter 14, however, we are provided insight from a Home Restoration Expert. As God looks at His rebellious and broken-down sinful people, He genuinely says to them, "Well, they look promising!"
