There were a lot of plays in Sunday's Jets-Eagles game — as Ryan Fitzpatrick's 59 dropbacks might suggest — and the usual names were all among the Jets' 80-play participants, including tacklesD'Brickashaw Ferguson and Breno Giacomini, G James Carpenter and S Calvin Pryor.

But in this week's Jets playcounts story, due in part to the Eric Decker and Chris Owusu injuries at wideout, two new names surfaced among the snap leaders.

WR Jeremy Kerley was also on the field for 80 plays (71 on offense, nine on special teams) and contributed 102 all-purpose yards (33 on six receptions, 69 on seven punt returns). Kerley had been in for just seven plays the first two games combined.

And rookie Devin Smith went from no reps as an inactive player the first two weeks to registering 73 plays, including 64 on offense, and a few of those of the longball variety. He didn't catch any of the go routes from Fitzpatrick, but he did make his first three receptions as a pro for 39 yards.

LB Erin Henderson also got eight defensive snaps at MLB early for David Harris, who came off briefly with a finger issue. And G Brian Winters got the majority of the RG reps, 47 in all, after Willie Colon (32 snaps) left with a sprained MCL. Head coach Todd Bowles said Monday the injury will keep Colon out at least for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in London and Winters will get the start.

Also, CB Darrelle Revis, who was questionable for Sunday's game with a groin injury yet started and went 65 snaps, left a little early, with Marcus Williams coming in for seven plays on defense.

The play counts below from the NFL game summary include all offensive, defensive and special teams plays plus some penalty plays.
