Carlos Sainz Sr just won the 2024 Dakar Rally, for the fourth time at the age of 61. It was Audi's first win as well. We at GRANDPRIX247 have been following Dakar with F1 news understandably at a low this time of the year.
We laud Sainz for this great achievement which triggered some thoughts as we inevitably compared him with his son, Carlos Jr who races in F1 with Ferrari.
Does the younger Sainz have the same talent as his old man? Can we even compare? Will Jr achieve comparable success to what Sr has enjoyed in rallying?
