These are the kinds of questions that Matthew Shakir, Founder and CEO of Awaken Momentum, challenges us to answer.

Throughout today's podcast we'll be answering questions such as:

  • How can I create a platinum life?
  • How do I feel fulfilled by my life?
  • Is there a "right way" to live my best life?
  • How do you heal from hardships?
  • How can women and men support each other?

We'll talk all about how to grow the GRIT within yourself and use it to propel yourself forward in life. Matthew reminds us of the infinite possibility found in creating a new 'bottom' when hardship hits and how integral these events are in reaching your life goals.

Using hardships to move forward in life can definitely be hard! It's important to heal from the experiences first, in order to utilize them. Follow these steps to aid you in the process!

Steps to heal:

1. Find Out Who You Need On Your Dream Team.

  • Maybe a coach or therapist?

2. Spend Time With People Who Empower And Inspire You!

  • It's okay to be picky!
  • You're the 'mean' of the five people you spend the most time with

3. Take Care Of Yourself!

  • Journaling
  • Emotional release (crying is healthy!)
  • Properly fuel your body
  • Go outside!

Matthew Shakir, the Founder and CEO of Awaken Momentum, is a Life and Business Coach and Men's Work Facilitator.
