Seedphrase, also known as Daniel Maegaard, is a DJ and investor from Queensland, Australia, who made his fortune in cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. He invested $4,000 in Bitcoin in 2013 and cashed out in 2017, making millions of dollars. After traveling to over 40 countries, he discovered NFTs and bought some of the most sought-after ones, including his signature CryptoPunk #8348. During his performances, Maegaard wears the CryptoPunk image as a helmet, which enables him to entertain fans and pique their interest in all things Web3. Recently, he sold his rare CryptoPunk #2924 for $4.45 million. Despite not coming from a traditional musical background, Seedphrase aims to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 using music and identity.

In this episode, we cover:

- The backstory of his 7 trait CryptoPunk

- What inspired him to start DJing

- What he looks for when investing

- How he plans to bring more mainstream attention to the Web3 space through music
