Nick Oxford is a coder and an entrepreneur. He is also an expert in the crypto space. While taking a job as a software developer at Peloton, he learned to code. He got interested in digital art in 2020 and learned about NFTs a year after.
Today, Nick explains the differences between two of the most popular NFT blockchains today - Ethereum and Solana. Their major differences include the resources used to mint the tokens, the recording speed of the transaction process, the cost of gas fees, and the gaps between proof-of-work and proof-of-stake. Despite their differences, acquiring NFTs depends on people’s preferences. However, it is also important to learn more about the process, the concepts, and the consequences so that one doesn’t have to worry about their impacts on the environment.
Nick also explains the possible future of NFTs. The time will come when almost everyone you know will have a digital wallet that validates their digital identity. NFTs are here to stay, and the best advice when purchasing them is to find NFTs that you really like, whether it’s by an artist you follow or someone you trust.
