Sonic the Hedgehog was another early, major influence that led to my game music career. I recently saw a video analyzing the music from the game, which focused on the heavy use of chromatic progressions. I've tried to experiment with that a bit here to make it Sonic-y but in a different sort of way - not the exact same progression that Masato Nakamura loved to use over and over. Also, all the sounds are Sega Genesis, so that helps it sound even more like the blue blur's classic soundtracks. Thanks for listening.
