Tanglewood Earth-1000, standard tuning. Saw the prompt about 15 minutes into the skirmish, this is my one-take/improv skirmish. The Curtain What lies behind the curtain? We’ll never know for sure Make up hypothetical things Is the lady who lives across the street Really a psychopath? Is her husband who feeds the red kites Just trying to take his own life? What lies behind the curtain? Came up with a subplot We’ll never know what the guy really died of Was it gambling debts that led to the Chinese Mafia Coming for him Or was it really cancer like his family said? What lies behind the curtain? Why’d they buy such a large RV? What lies behind the curtain? Why’d they buy such a large RV We’re not even living in America… I doubt they could park that damn thing if they tried If they tried If they tried What lies behind the curtain What’s with the guy who lives at home with his dad Playing songs into the early hours? Surely he’s got better things to do? Surely he’ll start making a family soon? He’s running out of time Yeah we’re all in a fight against time Everything and nothing’s behind the curtain Doesn’t concern us. Let everyone just live their Miserable lives
