Andrew Landers has spent 2 decades playing his narrative in the unsung Americana Folk genre, a colorful brainy singer songwriter who shares the stage with a myriad of national artists. With 11 records to his name, he is the epitome of what a modern day traveling corduroy storytelling troubadour sounds and feels like. Ed Rowell (Author & Speaker) "Andrew is not at all that hard to figure out. He's just a neo-hippy poet musing on theology and sociology from a post-modern perspective. He simply finds the sacred in the ordinary, the humor in the serious, and the tranquil in the noise that surrounds us all." Andrew lives in rainy Olympia WA with 6 amazing kids, 1 pretty wife and a 72 VW Bus. He digs the St. Louis Cardinals and believes the Yankees suck! He's fully convinced that Barney “the purple messiah” is the reason dinosaurs went instinct and has a codependent relationship with his 3 acoustic guitars named CASH, Dylan, and Guthrie. Max Allen Collins (author of "Road To Perdition) "Andrew is the real deal - soulful, unpretentious storyteller who tells it from the heart. His music is as profound as it is entertaining." Andrew says it like this: "Music is my compass, it’s how I see the world and long to see it better. The songs that I'm singing every night are the songs that I need — not to learn how to play, but to learn how to live better.” A live show with Andrew Landers and or Mainstreet Struggleville is a medicinal musical collide of Shawn Mullins writing style, Tommy Emmanuel’s acoustic guitar prowess, the soulful bluesy influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the jam bandy feel of Phish and the feel good vibe of Bob Marley. http://www.andrewlanders.com
