We’re only a few short weeks away from the start of the NHL season and that means the boys have plenty to talk about on today’s episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we're talkin' line combos, the salary cap, goalie gear, and anything else we can think of from Oilers training camp.

To kick off this week’s podcast, we got this week's show started with a debate about pre-season concerns that we may have about the Edmonton Oilers. Even though we mostly think the Oilers are in good shape, there are still some areas of concern pertaining to the way this team is built, the overall depth, and whether some of the young players can the steps forward. That's not to say that the team is in bad shape or something — they're absolutely not — but we did work through some of our biggest issues. From there, we looked at the Oilers' salary cap situation which is incredibly tight right now and tried to come up with ideas on how it can be fixed. Next up, we dove into the early updates from training camp as we are all super excited to get this season underway. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers.
