In this episode I'm joined by Dr Craig Joyce, a child and behavioural psychologist from Warwickshire, UK. Dr Joyce has years of experience working with children who have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and has a passion for understanding why young people behave the way they do. The episode focusses on children's behaviour, and towards the end we talk about how early trauma can affect our behaviour as adults. The key message to takeaway is that if you had any of these experiences as a child, they could well be effecting you now and healing is possible. There is so much research in this subject area.
