South-London RnB songstress Kemi Ade came out of the womb knowing she'd be making music - and making music she is!

Fresh off the back of her new release, the second instalment of her double EP project, 'Drive - Dusk Edition', Kemi has been praised by the likes of Complex, Notion and Guap, with this release showcasing her songwriting and vocal muscles. An accomplished songwriter behind-the-scenes, 'Drive - Dusk Edition' was written after a year long hiatus that saw Kemi work as a songwriter for artists such as BSHP & Rebecca Garton. Now re-focusing on herself as an artist, Kemi is back, creating music that weaves elements of 90s synths, jazz, soul and R&B into a sound that is distinctly her own, putting her into the position as one of the UK’s top R&B voices.

In this episode we speak about the decisions behind her latest release, confidence vs arrogance as a woman in the industry, and imagination and songwriting.
