For this month's episode of the Our Sam Talking out Loud podcast series, we have partnered with Sheffield Trophoblastic Disease Centre, based at Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield, to focus on the important subject of 'Molar Pregnancy' or Gestational Trophoblastic Disease. Sheffield is one of 2 NHS centres providing treatment and support for women following diagnosis of Molar pregnancy along with a third centre in Dundee who provide support.
In the first part of this special focus episode, discussing the important subject of Ectopic pregnancy, Philippa talks to Our Sam trustee, Clinical Lead for Women’s Services at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, and Senior Clinical Lecturer at Bangor University, Hemant Maraj.
