Da Hellcat" and "Olskool Ice-Gre" give awesome insight into how their New Inspirational and Uplifting Album "Dreams Still Inspire" came about, after 15 years of disbanding as a group and returning to pursue Music recently. Ice-Gre speaks about receiving a surprise call from Kanye West early one morning with passionate interest to sign and fully produce their next album. E.P. and Ice-Gre speak on their early journey with hip hop and the experience of coming back together to pursue music under Kanye's latest Imprint "YZY SND" (Yeezy Sound). They talk about maintaining their respect and friendship throughout the years, and history as friends with Kanye prior to his music notoriety as well as his vision for the group's inspiring message with this album. The interview goes in depth to talk about the subject matter, themes, and some of the thought provoking lyrics on the album and much more. "Dreams Still Inspire" is the 1st Album Release on Kanye West's New "YZY SND" Imprint and it delivers so eloquently. The beats are very reminiscent of "College Dropout Album" Kanye, and fit the vintage Soulful Boom Bap Chicago sound. The album was released last friday and is such a breath of fresh air for Hip Hop. Everything from the beats, the uplifting lyrics and overall soulful sound make this album a dope project to highlight in 2021. Definitely go take a listen and support when you get a chance.
