On this Final Episode of Outside the Boards Season, I am excited to introduce you to one of Chip Campbell. In the heart of Wellington, Florida, where polo's passion thrives, Chip Campbell stands as a pillar of the sport. As the former USPA Chairman and current Chairman of USPA Global Licensing, Chip has left an indelible mark on American polo, shaping its trajectory through his extensive involvement with the Association and dedication to American horse breeding.

Chip's journey in polo spans decades, from learning to ride as a youngster under a polo-playing stepfather to returning to the sport at age 40 and raising his two children, including his son Camp Campbell, within the polo community. Fifteen years ago, he founded Clearwater Polo, a testament to his passion for breeding and training horses for the highest levels of competition.
Under Chip's leadership, Clearwater Polo has ambitiously tackled prestigious tournaments like the 22-goal Gauntlet of Polo series and the 16-goal Wellington Polo Tour, recently securing the coveted Ylvisaker Cup. His vision for the sport extends beyond personal achievements, focusing on creating a lasting legacy and promoting generational involvement in polo.
Chip's dedication to polo is not just professional but deeply personal, as he competes alongside his son Camp in the competitive environment of Wellington. Their shared passion for polo and commitment to excellence reflect the spirit of family and camaraderie that defines the sport.
As Chip looks towards the future, his aspirations for Clearwater Polo Team include passing the torch to his children, ensuring the continuation of their polo legacy, and contributing to the ongoing growth and development of polo in the United States.
