Kevin Painchaud is a photo journalist for local news outlet Lookout Santa Cruz. I first met Kevin at a wall mural while taking to PTC favorite Tay Lion. Although the interaction was short, Kevin’s passion for his photo’s was evident. While taking shots of myself and the studio for my own article in Lookout Santa Cruz, we got to talk on a more personal level. Kevin’s story floored me. A life threatening car accident when he was 15 that would shape his world perspective through the lens of a camera to producing indy movies and Emmy nominations for tv shows, Kevin’s own life is really like a movie.
