In this episode of The Parents' Rights in Education Podcast, we tackle the whirlwind of end-of-school-year activities and the transition into summer. With so much happening, it's easy to feel like you're running in circles. Our focus is on getting out into the community and laying the groundwork for action in the fall. Summer is prime time for community events such as civic parades, festivals, and political activities, offering a great opportunity to spread the word about Parents’ Rights in Education (PRE). Advocacy groups are welcoming to like-minded organizations, so check your calendar and sign up for local activities. Only 1-3 people are needed to start a local PRE Affiliate. Visit the PRE website, click on Free Membership, and fill out the information. Monthly national calls update and connect leaders nationwide. Access to branded materials, flyers, articles, and official PRE merchandise is available. With schools promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion agendas, PRE aims to help parents navigate these issues and take appropriate actions. Engage in local events, host speakers, and get involved in the movement to take back school boards one district at a time. For more information, visit the Parents’ Rights in Education website.
