2020: The year of COVID19. It's been tough and we've lived through not one but two national 'lockdowns' here in the UK! Globally many of us have had to dig deep for resilience methods, calling on strengths of self and others to get through it all. Someone who knows quite a bit about the power of utilising our strengths and the psychology behind the approach is Dr Paul Brewerton, aka the Strengths Guy. He is the co-founder and MD of Strengthscope, a platform that is able to accurately assess strengths for leaders, teams and individuals. Many forward thinking companies use Strengthscope to energise their staff and boost performance. The World Bank, EDF energy, HSBC, Channel 4, Siemens, Tesco, Boots, BT to name a few. I've been using the tool for many years and it's helped many of my clients get more from their staff and individuals benefit from more energy and effectiveness. We cover: - The impact lockdown has had on us, his business, clients. - Whos' benefitted from the pandemic and what we've learned/done differently - What his passion is and how he's found 'his path' to positive psychology, the highs and lows of running his business - My lightbulb moment linked to the strengths based approach - My experience with Strengthscope with organisations and individuals over the years - The future of Strengthscope leveraging technology -Top tips for aspiring or existing start-up leaders *Covid-19 social distancing measures meant we had to have this conversation remotely but we didn't let that get in the way of sharing this episode with you. Enjoy and please share if you find it useful or interesting!
