The world is obsessed with fame and fortune and is often found worshipping man-made idols such as power, money, beauty, and success. Paul and Barnabas were put to the test in Acts 14 when confronted by fame, and they passed with flying colors by proclaiming that they were mere representatives of the Living God, not gods themselves to be worshipped.
