In previously unreleased jailhouse recordings, Beasley portrays himself as a devout Christian, concealing his manipulative and predatory behavior. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Beasley's deceitfulness extends beyond the victims he buried in shallow graves. [Galatians 3:25-29; John 3:1-6] Our born identity is the redeemed and freed who live as sons and heirs. [Galatians 4:1-7] We grow in intimacy with the Father over time by spending intentional time. Our born identity is shaped by knowing God and being known by God. [Galatians 4:8-11; 1 John 2:16; Colossians 2:16-17] We tend to turn back to lesser “gods”: Desires of the flesh. Desires of the eyes. Pride of life. We need to regularly turn back to God and our born identity. Next Step Questions: Are you born again and living in your born identity? Have you been baptized? www.pathwayvb.com/baptism What are you turning back to instead of turning to God and His best for your life?…
Feel like God’s given you a gift—but you’re not sure what to do with it? You’re not alone. In this powerful episode, Pastor Brian sits down with author and ministry leader Dr. Kiersten Telzerow to talk about her new book Rise: Your Gift Will Make Room. With warmth and honesty, Kiersten shares how her childhood dream to serve at National Community Church became a reality—and the long, hard road she took to write the book she knew God was calling her to write. Whether you’ve buried your gift out of fear or felt stuck waiting for the “perfect time,” Kiersten’s story will remind you that God has already made room—you just have to say yes. You’ll also hear about the power of prayer, the importance of making room for God’s voice, and how to trust the Holy Spirit’s lead, even when it’s uncomfortable. This episode is a must-listen for anyone ready to step into their calling and trust God with what comes next. Learn more about Pathway Church in Vero Beach, FL at https://pathwayvb.com.…

[John 20:1-8] We often choose the robber instead of the grave robber. [John 18:40 ; John 10:7-10] We will always be “thirsty” apart from Jesus’ living water. [John 19:28 -29; Psalm 22:15 -16] “It is finished” means we live not to do, but because it is done.[John 19:30 ; Colossians 2:12 -15] What work did Jesus finish and fulfill? Jesus fulfilled the law, the prophets, and His mission. “Tetelestai” (“it is finished) is defined as: to bring to an end, to complete, to accomplish. What happens when one family’s “yes” becomes a lifeline for a child in crisis? In this moving “God at Work” episode, Pastor Brian sits down with Brittney Yanoviak to share a powerful story of faith, heartbreak, and hope. When Brittney and her family stepped up to help a child through Safe Families, they had no idea how deeply it would change their lives—and the lives of the children involved. Through a series of God-orchestrated connections between Pathway’s food pantry, The Buggy Bunch, and Safe Families, a hurting family found community, support, and the love of Jesus. Certainly not! 18 For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor. 19 For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. - Galatians 2:15-21 Next Step Questions: Are you trying to earn God's favor, and how can you rely more on faith in Jesus for justification? What steps will you take this week to deny yourself and let Christ completely rule your life? How will you show Christ's grace and love in your community? How will you love your plus one this week? [Galatians 2:1-10; Acts 11:29-30; Acts 15:1-2] When we lose sight of the main thing, we lose much more than perspective. Love levels the playing field to make sure everyone experiences the freedom Jesus offers. [Galatians 2:11-14; Matthew 7:1-6; Mark 2:1-11] Judgmental attitudes tear down people and build walls that protect religion but prevent relationships with Jesus. [Ephesians 4:13-16] The “Big 3” questions about growing in Jesus and going with Jesus: 1. How can I know I am growing as a disciple (follower of Jesus)? [Ephesians 4:13-16; Galatians 5:22-23] Take the Organic Disciples survey here: www.pathwayvb.com/survey 2. Is discipleship bigger than “me and Jesus”? [2 Timothy 2:1-2, NIV; Psalm 78:5-7] The four generations: Generation 1- “Paul”: we need a spiritual mentor. Generation 2- “Timothy”: we are responsible for our spiritual growth. Generation 3- “Reliable People”: We are called to invest in the journeys of others. Generation 4- “Those they teach”: We are called to invest in others who follow Jesus. 3. What is the relationship between discipleship and evangelism? [Matthew 28:19-20] The Relationship of Discipleship and Evangelism Evangelism and discipleship are not enemies. Evangelism and discipleship are not just friends. Evangelism and discipleship are marriage partners. Next Step Questions: Have you received Jesus? Join us for church in-person or online every Sunday at 9am and 11am. Discover more about Pathway Church in Vero Beach, FL at pathwayvb.com Defining Moments: Your Kingdom Come, part of our Defining Moments series, explores how prayer connects us to God and keeps us grounded amidst cultural chaos. Pastor Brian teaches from Daniel 2, focusing on God’s sovereignty and how, just as Daniel trusted God in difficult times, we too can lean into prayer, humility, and faith. Key Points from the Sermon: 1. Prayer Connects Us to the One in Control Jesus prayed, Daniel prayed, and we are called to pray, as prayer keeps us connected to the One who is truly in control of all things. In a world full of uncertainty, prayer is our direct line to God’s sovereignty. (Matthew 6:9-13) 2. Trusting in God's Sovereignty Even when faced with the impossible, like Daniel interpreting the king's dream, God remains in control. Daniel trusted God in both natural and supernatural circumstances, and we, too, are called to trust Him in every situation. (Daniel 2:1-13) 3. God Makes the Impossible Possible Daniel’s humility, dependence on God, and obedience led to God revealing the dream’s meaning, proving that what is impossible for man is possible for God. Our role is to remain faithful and dependent on Him. (Daniel 2:14 -35) 4. The Rise and Fall of Empires—God’s Kingdom Will Stand Forever Though earthly kingdoms rise and fall, God's Kingdom will never fail. Daniel’s vision of the statue represents the empires that would come and go, but it reminds us that our ultimate hope is in God's eternal Kingdom. (Daniel 2:36 -49) 5. The Church's Role in Encouraging One Another As the body of Christ, we are called to stir each other up to live faithfully for King Jesus. Gathering as a church strengthens us, encouraging us to keep our focus on God’s Kingdom. (Hebrews 10:19 -25)…

Defining Moments: Navigating Cultural Chaos, part of our "Defining Moments" series, delves into the cultural chaos we face as Christians and how our identity in Christ allows us to stand firm. Using the story of Daniel and his friends in Daniel 1:1-21, Pastor Brian explores the importance of staying true to who we are in Christ, no matter where we are. Key Points from the Sermon: 1. God’s Sovereignty and Grace: Even in exile, Daniel and his friends remained confident in God's sovereignty and grace. This same truth applies to us today in the midst of cultural pressures. 2. The Power of Identity: Daniel’s refusal to accept Babylon’s identity for him (Daniel 1:8) highlights the importance of knowing who we are in Christ. As Christians, our purpose is our identity in action. 3. The Renaming of Daniel and His Friends: The enemy sought to rename Daniel and his companions, but their trust in God allowed them to reject those labels. This reminds us that the names and labels others give us don’t define our worth or purpose (Daniel 1:1-7). 4. Standing Up with Conviction, Graciousness, and Faith: Daniel’s stand against the king’s food demonstrated his deep conviction and faith. He was able to do so graciously and with wisdom, trusting God to honor his faithfulness (Daniel 1:8-16). 5. Excellence and Unity in the Face of Chaos: Despite the cultural pressures around them, Daniel and his friends stood out for their excellence and integrity, shining brightly for God in a foreign land. They also stood together, reminding us of the strength in unity (Daniel 1:17 -21). Special Highlights: 1. Have you heard about the The Bridge Initiative? It's an online alternative offering a variety of leadership education options. This program features bachelor's and associate degrees through Indiana Wesleyan University, personal coaching for guidance, and flexible scheduling with accelerated 6-week classes, all fully online. Reflective Questions: 1. Will you stand-up with conviction? 2. Will you stand-up with graciousness? 3. Will you stand-up with faith? 4. Will you stand-up with excellence? 5. Will you stand-up with others?…

Pastor Brian explores the parable of the Good Samaritan, revealing how true compassion reflects Christ's love in our daily lives. Key Points from the Sermon: Authority in Christ: The 72 disciples returned with joy, realizing that even demons submitted to them in Jesus' name. Jesus reminded them to rejoice not in their power, but in the fact that their names are written in heaven (Luke 10:17 -24). A Gospel-First Life: Jesus rejoiced in the Father’s will, praising God for revealing His truth to those with childlike faith. A life centered on the Gospel secures eternal life (Luke 10:21 -24). The Greatest Commandment: When asked how to inherit eternal life, Jesus affirmed the command to love God fully and to love your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:25 -28). The Good Samaritan: In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus teaches that our neighbor is anyone in need, and true love is demonstrated through mercy and compassion (Luke 10:29 -37). Mission of Love: Our mission is clear: love God and love all people in our pathway, just as Christ has loved us (John 13:34 -35). Special Highlights: Today’s message featured a special guest, Owen from Compassion, who shared how sponsoring a child can transform lives. Compassion’s program provides children with essential resources like education, healthcare, and spiritual guidance, helping them break the cycle of poverty. Owen highlighted the incredible impact that sponsorship has—not only on the child but also on the sponsor’s life. By partnering with Compassion, we have the opportunity to live out Christ’s call to love our neighbors in a tangible way. Will you take a step today and sponsor a child in need, bringing hope and change to their life? Reflective Questions: 1. Are you living a Gospel-first life? 2.
