this is an old mix i originally did in 2007, a week after the 40th Southport weekender..it started as a guest mix for a the CJ Cooper show on internet radio, CJ specialised in 90s house music, and loved what we played in the Sands, the pop up gig in the pub across the road from the Southport Weekender site, and asked me to contribute a mix for his show/podcast, so i thought it would nice to put together a mix, highlighting some of the older tracks we play in the Sands, some well known and some slightly more obscure, and one new track that fitted well into the mix and went down great in the Sands at the weekender ... i'll have to do a part 2 sometime. ENJOY!
01. Meli’sa Morgan – “still in love with you” (meli’sa in the house mix)
02. Cloud 9 – “do you want me”
03. Voices – “can you see the light”
04. 95 North ft Josef – “sun goddess” (dark dub)
05. Mike Dunn – “born 2 b houze” (the ‘get down’ house mix)
06. Danell Dixon – “dance dance”
07. The Urban Bushman – “logorhythmic black”
08. E.S.P. – “its you” (inst)
09. Intense – “holding on”
10. Kerri Chandler – “atmosphere (track 1)”
11. Coral Way Chiefs – “release myself”
12. Patrice Scott – “beyond deep”
13. Soul Vision – “don’t stop” (remix)
A Paul Stuart mix ~ some Sands classics
