Let's be honest, when reading scripture we have two different voices. One for the Old Testament and one for the New Testament. The Old Testament voice is angry and the New Testament voice is friendly, yet according to scripture this should not be the case. Where do we go wrong? Do we need to come to another understanding of Scripture?
