Through a collection of short, focused educational modules, learners will combine self-assessment with concise clinical content in an interactive format. An expert GU oncologist presents digestible self-study segments, with a particular focus on CV considerations associated with ADT approaches. Explore topics pertinent to effective management of patients with prostate cancer on ADT regimens in your clinical practice and learn more about the impact of CV considerations and team-based models of care. Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: Differentiate between GnRH analogues (agonists or antagonists) for patients with advanced prostate cancer with respect to their mechanism of action, clinical effects, cardiovascular (CV) safety, and other attributes; Select patients with advanced prostate cancer who may benefit from treatment with a GnRH antagonist based on CV risk, comorbidities, patient preferences (eg, regarding dosing and/or administration route), and other individualized factors; and Collaborate with multidisciplinary and interprofessional care colleagues to appropriately assess and manage CV risk in patients with advanced prostate cancer who require ADT.
